Package Description: Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Mathematics to join the Mary Erskine School on a temporary basis from 10 November 2025 to 19 December 2025 to cover for a period of absence. The role is full time, term time, and remuneration will be on the ESMS Teaching Staff Salary Scale A (£34,853 - £50,477 per annum). Applications from candidates who are available on a part-time basis will also be considered.
The role is based at the Ravelston site at the Mary Erskine School.
The successful candidate must be GTCS-registered, hold a subject-specific degree level qualification, and have familiarity with Scottish qualifications. They should be an excellent practitioner, highly organised, and capable of multitasking while maintaining high standards and fostering positive relationships within the school community.
