Teacher of Mathematics - Part-Time (6 Months FTC), Glasgow

An opportunity to teach Mathematics in our Senior School has become immediately available on a part-time, FTC basis for a period of 6 months, working 3 days per week, Monday-Wednesday.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have a good degree in Mathematics and be an enthusiastic classroom teacher. The passion and enthusiasm to promote Mathematics as a discipline or interest beyond the confines of the classroom is essential.

The post would be equally well suited to an experienced or newly qualified teacher who has previously taught up to Higher level.

Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to use ICT to enhance teaching and learning.

All staff are expected to contribute to the wider life of the school.

To comply with regulations under The Education (Scotland) Act 2016, all teachers who commence employment at any Scottish Independent School on or after 1 October 2017 must be registered, or eligible to register, with the General Teaching Council of Scotland (GTCS); either Provisional, Provisional (Conditional) or Full.
